As you know, the 4^th of July is coming up fast, and if you’re still looking for something to do, read on.  The 4^th isn’t the only day to celebrate.  The whole weekend will be a fabulous time to hang out with family and friends and do something fun together.  If you’re willing to take a little bit of a drive, Memorial Lawn at Stone Mountain Park will be the place to be.

Stone Mountain Park, which is well-known for its spectacular laser light shows, is having a Fantastic Fourth Celebration from July 2^nd-4^th.  This event has been around for 44 years and is ever-changing.  This year, you and the kids can experience the new Yogi Bear 4-D Adventure or climb up in the trees on Sky Hike, which is one of America’s largest adventure ropes courses.

In addition to the above, the park will, of course, be lit up with fireworks! Live music will also be part of the festivities.  While this will be a great holiday celebration in and of itself, you can also buy a Family Value Pass for a full day of fun and/or stay for the all-new Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision, which will begin immediately following the fireworks on the 2^nd-4^th.

If you’re planning on getting out to the park, make sure you get there extra early because it is expected to be pretty crowded.  You can enjoy the attractions all day starting at 10 am, so if you want to make a day of it you can do that as well.
