Kids gain experience in karting here in Stockbridge

Looking for something exciting to do in the coming week? If so, what about karting? This kid-friendly activity can be done right here in Stockbridge at Raceway Motorsports.  If you would like to show your kids how it’s done, they have a class called Rotax, which is the fastest growing class of its kind.

The youngest Rotax class is called Micro-Max – designed for kids ages 7-10.  The racing class has engines that are reduced through the use of several restrictors including exhaust restrictor, throttle stop and a smaller exhaust pipe.  In this age group, the cadet size chassis is used.

For ages 9-12 is Mini-Max, which has the engine power reduced by an intake and exhaust restrictor.  They use the same size chassis as Micro-Max.  Following are Junior-Max (ages 12 to 16), Seniors and Masters (ages 16+).  No engine restrictors are used for the 2 highest levels.

Are you ready to put your kids on the fast track to success, Cameron Landing?
