The 2010 NFL schedule was finally released this week.  There are a lot of good matchups coming down the road.  There’s plenty to be happy about or complain about depending on who your favorite team is.  One thing that I noticed was that all of the final-week games are divisional matchups.  I love that.  It should help keep teams from resting players.

Without further adu, here is the 2010 Atlanta Falcons schedule.  What do you think?  Planning on going to any games?

Vick Says He Was “Lazy” in Atlanta

vickWell first he got in trouble with the law and now Michael Vick is putting the Atlanta Falcons back in the line of fire by saying he was lazy during his time here.

While he had his supporters here, he also had his doubters. Sure there were some that knew he wasn’t giving his all, but no one really wants to hear him admit it now.

It’s like running into your ex and them telling you that they just couldn’t get their life together when they were with you, but now the pieces have fallen into place now that they have someone new. Really Vick? Really?

What’s your response?

No, it wasn’t the Super Bowl, but it sure did set a great stage for the big game. The Indianapolis Colts threw out the glass slipper for Matt Sanchez and the Cinderella Jets. It was a great game to watch and I am very impressed with Sanchez’s leadership and strength in the pocket. The Colts won 30-17.

The New Orleans Saints are headed to their first Super Bowl in franchise history after defeating the Minnesota Vikings 31-28 in overtime. That game caused me a little more stress because it was hard to see Brett Favre go out in such a fashion. But if you turnover the ball, you are going to lose and the Vikings turned over the ball way too many times – 5 to be exact.

Now the two teams that spent most of their season undefeated will prepare to face each other. I know who I’m going for, but what about you? What did you think of the games yesterday?
